FOP filmmakers are veterans of nearly twenty one-off documentary films, as well as 4 television series totalling 40 episodes. We are experienced at shooting in environments ranging from the Namib Desert to tropical rainforests - such as the Masoala Peninsula in Madagascar. We also do aerial and underwater work.

While we have worked on large budget productions for the likes of the BBC and the Discovery channel, FOP recognises that often a small independent team can deliver excellent footage with minimal resources.

Current productions:

FOP is currently involved in a 26-part x 24 min series for South African National Parks on youth and parks. The series focuses on a range of parks and themes and their exploration by groups of youth. Issues such as poaching, predation, water, invasive species, and how the national parks function are explored in the series. Adventure, survival and discovery are main themes in the series. The youth travel through the parks in a minibus decorated with a zebra pattern. The series showcases South Africa’s tremendous biological, landscape and cultural diversity.
