FOP consists of a group of filmmakers, scientists and conservationists who work together to examine the underlying processes that affect our survival on the planet.

The team includes experts on coastal and marine environments, deserts and tropical rainforests. We also have personal contact with communities in many parts of the world through a team of field workers who have been engaged in grassroots projects over many years.

Our sister company, Eco-Africa Environmental Consultants, shares our focus on the interface between humans and the environment. They are actively helping many of these communities develop sustainable livelihoods.

Together Eco Africa and FOP have worked in what we call "the last Edens" since 1988 and have excellent relations with the relevant wildlife departments, national park authorities and research stations. The range of languages spoken by the team members (Afrikaans, English, Malagasy, French, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swahili) and the knowledge base they rely on assure close contact and intimate relations with the local people wherever we film.

FOP further draws on a select group of talented individuals who are able to compliment our skills as associates.
